WordPress sites
In 2011, the Victoria University School of Māori Studies and the Institute of Policy Studies commissioned this website to initiate public discussion about issues arising from the end of the Treaty settlements in 2014.
This WordPress site facilitates easy comment management by the client. The graphics were supplied by Aleck Yee from Alltex Design.
The Auckland Disability Providers Network is a large group of organisations concerned with disability issues. They are keen to raise their profile and build their community.
This site need to be accessible to users with a wide range of disabilities, so a number of accessibility enhancements have been included, including alternative colour schemes for low-visibility visitors.
The design of the default theme was by Max Wong from RNZFB
Employment Advocate .co.nz was built to promote David Flaws' advocacy service. Logo is by brother Fane Flaws.

Charles Fishman is a psychiatrist, specialising in Family Therapy, Adolescents and Eating Disorders. He is the author of a number of books, offers training and supervision to clinicians, and is engaged in long-term research on the effectiveness of eating disorder treatment.

Dr Fishman has opened an Eating Disorder Clinic in Auckland and, encouraged by responses to his precious website, is evaluating Google Adwords as a way of promoting his clinical services. An upgrade and re-design in 2011 added BuddyPress social networking features.
This WordPress site can be updated by people with basic computer skills.
The NZ Migraine Sufferers Support Group had an existing, but somewhat broken site which they asked me to repair. As it relied on Javascript for navigation, table layout, inline formatting and offered no possibility for member interaction, I suggested we start from scratch and build a simple replacement utilising WordPress' extensive built-in functionality. This site attracted it's first registration less than 24 hours after re-launch.

MENZ Issues is an unmoderated news & discussion forum, "promoting a clearer understanding of men's experience".
Built for a voluntary community organisation, MENZ has over 150 registered authors and incorporates an automatic mailing list system for email subscribers. The site has received more than 17,000 comments from the general public.
Because of the subject matter, many of the contributors are highly impassioned and some are inclined to be abusive at times, like any other public internet forum of this nature. While there is no editorial control over what gets published (apart from a couple of users who are banned), I always respond to complaints as quickly as possible by removing offensive material.
POSH (Static HTML) Sites
Greenstone Family Clinic is a general medical practice in Manurewa, South Auckland.
They are keen to advertise their sleep clinic and student electives on the web, as well as provide general information for prospective patients.
Paul Callister is an academic doing research in the social policy area.
This site is for potential clients to learn more about him, and to provide a permanent archive of his publications.
