Customisable Access Key Menu for WordPress

Is your website accessible to visually-impaired visitors?

This site uses a customisable menu for adding access keys to a WordPress site. More about this site’s access keys here.

As you can see from the screenshot; it uses the “Link Relationship (XFN)” field to add the access key. The menu also includes the link description, so that screen reader software will give detailed instructions.

The access key menu does not display visually on the site; but it is the first thing that someone listening to a screen-reader will hear.
